Let's be clear - I'm rating the venue, not the show.
This place is all about squeezing every last penny from the patrons. 2 drink minimum, menu doesn't list beer, menu doesn't provide pricing on drinks... I noticed the couple next to me ordered 6 "specialty" drinks and a pork sandwich - the bill was over $100. The guy paying was shocked and upset at the bill. But don't worry, they got to take home all 6 of the chintzy glasses!
They pack as many people into the place as possible. Many seats don't even face the stage. Instead, they set you up facing your date, encouraging you to order food.
Stand Up Live will not be receiving my casual business.
