Having heard such great things about Gaucho Parrilla I had high expectations for the meal. That being said, the food was just good and well deserving of at least a four star rating. The problem I had with the whole experience was the setup of the whole restaurant. Not only was ordering annoying and made me feel like I was at a high class fast food joint, but the menu was extremely wordy, confusing, and the only way to view it was on a huge blackboard up front. It is also worth mentioning that with this setup you'll be stuck up front holding others back while trying to figure out what to order. If it's busy you will probably feel pressured to make a quick decision from a lengthy menu.
Despite the annoyances up front I had no issues with service and the food was good enough to save Gaucho from a lacking experience. Besides burnt cut of toast, the steak, chicken, and chorizo that I ordered was done well and accompanied with some tasty sauces. I guess I can forgive Gaucho for it's annoying setup for a good meal:/
