I'm not a huge baseball fan but do like to go to a couple games during spring training. Sloan park wouldn't be my first choice. First, it is full of Cub fans. I'm from Illinois but cub fans have to rank with the worst fans in sports. Most are extremely uninformed and yell at the worst times of a game but hey, they have the latest gear so that makes them sweet. Second, they price gouge pretty bad. $8 bucks for a warm 16oz bottle of beer, $8 for a Chicago dog and both asked for a tip. I gave the beer guy a $20 for 1 beer, he wasn't even the guy walking the aisle, and he asked if $10 was good for change. The guy was dead serious just staring at me. I have no problem tipping when you actually move or do something but what a clown. The hotdog guy at the concession stand said the same thing! My uncle got a tenderloin from the food truck and it looked like the way to go. I really liked that they had food trucks and a dos gringos bar. The seating was fantastic and I'm glad they put in a lawn seats. Parking was pretty good and only 5 bucks, I'd highly recommend parking in the north east lot. Overall, I'd much rather go to the Giants park in Scottsdale or go see the dbacks.
