As far as the shopping experience I do love RC Willey for their vast selection and the sales people are hit or miss (some look angry to be at work, others will follow you around almost to the point of stalking, and other seem to have the right balance of cheerfulness but understand when to leave you alone).
What my MAJOR issue is is the fact that if you are having something delivered they REFUSE to give you a window of time for the delivery until AFTER 6:30pm the NIGHT BEFORE! Every where else I know will either give you a time window when you purchase the item or, at the very least, 24-hours before the delivery date. I find this to be extremely rude and such poor customer service. For someone who works multiple jobs and doesn't have the luxury of dedicating an entire day off for one furniture delivery, this was very disheartening. The expectation that their customers can just drop everything or not make any other appointments because their computer system won't give out this information until 12-hours before is just mind-boggling to me. Even when I was given the delivery time window (that did not work with my work schedule) I was told I would have to pick another day. I wasn't even allowed to ask for a later delivery time that same day because it's all figured out by a computer based on your zip code and apparently there is only one driver delivering on that side of town who can only come in the one window of time that didn't work for me.
Believe it or not RC Willey, I have a life outside of work and your expectation for me to be able to dedicate an entire day to your delivery system is just ridiculous. You should have the courtesy of giving your customers at least 24-hours notice of their delivery window (at the very minimum) like your competitors do.
