I was staying at the Park Hyatt so this Espresso bar was only a 5 min walk north on Avenue Road. I was intrigued by all the high ratings and recognized that the coffee beans they use is Pilot Coffee Roasters which is roasted in Toronto. Ironically, one of my fave coffee houses back home in Winnipeg. "Cafe Postal" also uses Pilot Coffee. So I was looking forward to my mocha here which is $4.75. Unfortunately, the mocha was a few degrees too cool. Also, the mocha part was too light and not balanced in the drink. Overall, the mocha felt a bit too diluted with no real espresso profile in the drink at all. The blueberry bran muffin was good ($2.85), didn't taste greasy and felt healthy. I even watched the gal making some muffins from scratch in a small toaster oven.
The space is nice here with lots of space to sit around and the outdoor patio has good shade.
