| - I got married here in September 2009. It wasn't my first choice, but since Wee Kirk cancelled on us at the last minute, we went with The Chapel of the Bells.
It was a beautiful, small ceremony, Minister Bird was really sweet. I will not give them 5 stars only because they told us to take las vegas blvd from the luxor, and it took us over an hour an a half to get there. everyone who took the freeway was there in ten minutes. we were supposed to be getting married at 8:50pm, we didn't get there until past 10:30. No Vegas-ian in their right mind would tell someone to take las vegas blvd to get to the other side of the strip.
i completely forgot to ask M. Bird to make the ceremony less religious/preachy, but he didn't go overboard with it.
The price is good, it's a pretty little place, the lighting is great ( we got some wonderful photos). and they DID take the time to wait for us ( i'll admit my best friend gets the props for coercing them and they WEREN'T happy, but they didn't really show it to us when we got there). I was glad that they were able to save the day too! Their least expensive package includes an audio recording of our exchanged vows, which is a really nice touch.
Don't let the neon sign fool you. It's a place with taste and class. I was worried at first too.
In the end, it doesn't really matter where you got married, just that you've married the right person!
We're still both very happy and thanks to the Chapel of the Bells for starting us off right!
