  • I just booted Maid Pro from my house after cleaning for 1 hour. When I called to get an estimate for a 1 time deep clean of my house I was told $194 for 2 people to clean for 4.5 hours. Also that it would be $25 less if I signed up that day. I signed up and they said they would send me an email/invoice that day. I checked my email the next day and no invoice. So the next day I called, they said they were sorry and would send it. Waited a week, still no invoice. I called again. Once again, they are sorry and will send it immediately. You guessed it, they didn't. So day of service gets here and the cleaning lady shows up. Notice i said lady not ladies! Just one. I ask her if another is coming and she says no that they just sent her. I tell her what all I want cleaned and to see if she thinks its going to take her more then 4.5 hours. She looks around and says yes and then calls Maid Pro for back up. I also call and tell them I was told I would be getting 2 people for 4.5 hours for $175 not 1 person and I want to make sure they aren't going to charge me more for sending the second person out.I The person I speak to on the phone says that for what Im paying I get 1 person for 4.5 hours. I tell her that I got 2 people for that price. She says no, if you need more people or it takes longer to clean that I will have to pay $41 an hour per person. I ask "even though I was quoted incorretly?!" Her answer is yes. So I cancelled my service after only 1 hour. Im not paying a company that quotes me incorrectly then wants to charge me more. In short: 1. Never got my invoice that I called 3 times for. Had I seen I gotten it and saw 1 person for $175 instead of 2 people I never would have had them come. 2. They did not correct or own up to misquoting me. 3. Their own cleaning person told me that she has heard of them quoting people for 2 people or too few hours and then sending 1 person and saying that it takes more time and charging more. Overall, they are just shady and have poor business practices and I would never recommend them to anyone. The lady that they did send was very nice and did a good job on what she was able to get done in an hour.
