THEIR DEPOSIT POLICY IS A SCAM! I booked a room with them online, and paid for it on my credit card. The room was prepaid. I got there and they demanded a $100 "deposit" (why???) that they claimed would be returned to me upon checkout. Even though it was more than half of the total cost of what I had already paid to book the room online, I acceded, because I had been traveling all day and already booked it. When I checked out a few days later, they would not give me my deposit back. They said they would refund it to me on my credit card, and that it would take up to 24 hours. Then 24 hours later they said it would take 1-2 days. Then 1-2 days later they said it would take 3-5 days. I still have not been refunded the $100, even though they promised me they would. Essentially, this hotel stole $100 from me. I want my money back. This deposit was not only unnecessary -- it was unethical as a business to demand it from their customer who *already paid for their room! I will never ever give this hotel chain my business again and will spend the rest of my life telling everyone I know never to book with this hotel. They are THIEVES.
