I was a little disappointed in the experience that my husband and I had and here is why . My husband went to the movies and saw the building and name and thought it would be a great place to try. The outside is. It impressive; but who really cares, it is what is inside that counts. When you find the front door and go in it is a nice place. The inside is warm and inviting. However, with the name Oak Barrel you need to have people behind the bar that know what they are talking about. My husband ordered 4 different bourbons before there was one in stock. So first of all, have what you advertise. Second - train your staff on what you have. It should not take 15 minutes to get drinks because the bartender did not know what we were ordering or if it was available. Oh, and this was in the middle of the day and we were 2 of 5 at the bar. We did not get any food because we had just left the movies and were not hungry. We will give this place another try. So much potential, so little delivery. Hopefully our second try will be better.
