| - I've lived at the Belmont Apartments for 1 year and 6 months. I've always paid rent on time, I've been a great tenant. I don't even call for Maintenance (the only time I ever did is when the fridge is leaking water into the crisper, and even so, that still hasn't been fixed until now. They kept coming to "fix" it.. but it still floods water into my crisper drawers.) ANYWAY, after 2 rent increases of $60 each increase, I finally decided its time for me to move because paying about $1100 for a 2 bedroom and 1 bath, is no longer economical. I'd rather get a real house to rent. SO, here comes my LAST month here.. and here's WHEN the drama unfolds. I find it a bit odd now that I turned in my notice, now they want to treat me like a scum renter. ISSUE #1, I received a threatening phone call (RIGHT AFTER I SAID HELLO, didn't even give me a chance to ask what she wanted) from the manager Tracy, about my 16 year old brother who is vandalizing the pool area, and that he's not on my lease, and I'm going to be evicted because of it. PROBLEM IS, I DONT HAVE A 16 YEAR OLD BROTHER TRACY!!!!! Apparently, some punk kid just blurted out MY apartment number when he got caught. SO INSTEAD of Tracy verifying this information first, she started going on and on about my eviction because of me breaking the contract. LITERALLY RIGHT WHEN I SAID HELLO. That's EFFING ANNOYING BY THE WAY. ISSUE #2, I just got a 5 DAY NOTICE TO QUIT FOR VIOLATION OF CONTRACT posted on my door, because APPARENTLY, they don't have a copy of my renewed RENTERS insurance. SO let me get this straight, you don't have a copy of my renewed renters insurance, WHICH HAS NEVER LAPSED by the way, so instead of giving me a nice phone call to ask if I can send one over, you threaten to evict me AGAIN on my last month here, AGAIN. So I call the office to make sure they received my fax, and this b*$#&^! TRIED to get SNAPPY with me when I said "can you please make sure its in my file because I don't want anymore threatening letters." YEH. I HUNG UP ON YOUR A** before I cuss you out while I'm at work. THIS IS THE LAST STRAW A**HOLES. After being a model tenant for a year and half, any glimmer of hope that I will still renew the lease is now out the window. Granted, they do keep the grounds clean here. I never see cockroaches. The pool next to mine does occasionally get dirty, but they clean it within a couple days max.. and honestly, I probably would have renewed my lease again if I couldn't find a house in time, BUT AFTER THIS MESS YOU PUT ME THROUGH MY LAST MONTH HERE, THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I WILL EVER EVER LIVE HERE, OR WISH THIS UPON MY WORST ENEMY. Because frankly, YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE, DOESN'T EXIST. I'D RATHER LIVE IN A BOX. ON THE CORNER OF FREMONT STREET.
