| - I love the food here and never get tired of it. However, there's one HUGE (and in my mind) unforgivable issue - they refuse to do ramen to-go. It's not that they can't - I've gone in, ordered it, and then asked for a to-go containers and boxed it up myself - it's that they won't. And, as far as I can tell, they haven't bothered to try to find a solution for the "issue" which, according to them, is that the "top blows off the container". Yeah... Not if you put the noodles in a separate container and ensure that the soup isn't boiling at the time that you box it. I've proven this more than once.
Today, I had surgery. All I wanted to eat was Umami tonkatsu ramen and some pork buns. I don't want Graze ramen (which I could get to go). I don't want Wah Kee noodles (which I could get to go). I just wanted Umami. I called, pleaded my case, and even told them how to box it up and I was told no. If this review sounds at all like sour grapes, that's because it is. It's written while I'm hungry, in pain, and now pissed off. It may take me a while to get over this, regardless of how good the food is.
