I'm not really sure why the reviews here are so high. I guess a lot of people like a sweet frozen treat, and they justify eating here because froyo is supposed to be healthy.
I came here with a wagjag coupon. The self serve concept is a neat one, and it'd be pretty cool if it weren't for some of the kids there sticking their fingers into the machine (I avoided those flavors of course).
I'm not sure what I was expecting. I guess something like Yogen Fruz froyo, minus the fruit meshed in between. What I got was something ridiculously sweet. Some flavors I ended up getting just tasted like an awkward tasting (yet still very sweet) ice cream.
As some others have said, the portion cups they give you are huge. You don't need to get (and probably couldn't finish) that much froyo. They charge by weight, so when I went to the counter and was told my purchase was nearly $10, I was shocked. Then I pulled out the Wagjag coupon and it wasn't so bad.
The bright colors of the place, the sweetness of the froyo, and the abundance of toppings make this a great place to bring your kids, but since it's self serve, watch out - you might end up footing a pretty big bill for a few cupfuls of froyo.
