| - January 8, I made reservations for transportation for our wedding anniversary dinner Friday, January 31 and I confirmed the reservation Thursday, January 30. Tru Cab was to pick us up at 6, take us to the restaurant, pick us up at the restaurant at 9, and take us home.
Their driver was unable to make the appointment at 6. Representative Eric called a few minutes before 6, relayed the unfortunate information, and assured me he would get us a car/driver. He called again within 10 minutes to advise that a different taxi company was on its way. Shortly thereafter the new driver called to confirm. Eric called again to insure that the new driver/company had telephoned us..
WOW! I've tried several different cab/driver companies in the Valley. I've been the unfortunate recipient of filthy cars, no-shows, late arrivals, smelly drivers, drivers who needed me to provide directions, etc... S*** does happen occasionally. It isn't the ability to complete a job as promised that sets one company apart from another, it's how a company handles snafus that sets it apart from another company. Tru Cab rocks! They handled the problem smoothly, the representative Eric was on the ball, the substitute company was great, we still made our reservation, AND they reimbursed us for the substitute cab. Tru Cab has been added to my speed dial.
