UPDATE:
The co owner Christy called me to threaten me with legal action and calling me a liar because I posted my review of my experience. Sad since instead of sympathizing with the victim (me) all she did was tell me how her product would never do that and her highly highly highly master colorist ( her words) did nothing wrong. I know enough not to ever write or document false claims. The whole time she said she wanted to resolve the situation yet every opportunity she spoke she took the moment to call me a liar. Just know if they do anything wrong Christy will call you to tell you that your in the wrong instead of taking accountability. Amazing!
Worst place EVER. I sent a request for a highlights appointment to be done today and got a quick response from the owner to come in to see Martika. I specifically asked before I made the appt how much experience she had and he said 20 years. So thinking with that experience she would be able to do what I wanted. I went in and showed her a picture of the color I wanted and she said she could do it. She said she would do highlights and lighten my roots so it blended. After putting all my highlights in and color she comes up to me and tells me that she thought the owner told me how much it was going to cost and I said no he didn't. She proceeds to tell me it's going to be $250 and tried to sell me some bogus shampoo and conditioner that will maintain my blond color. I asked if I would get the 20% discount for checking in and she said yes. I figured it was going to be expensive for what I wanted. She rinsed me and didn't allow me to look at what she did because she said I want it to be a surprise. Once she finished relief drying my hair she turns me around and my hair was brown with blended highlights. I was so pissed off that she did that. And yet still she had the nerve to tell me oh I said it will take a couple of visits to get to where you want to go and asked if she could take pictures of me so she could post to her IG. Are you serious? The owner really tried to see what he could do to make things better and did discount the service but honestly I feel like I shouldn't have paid anything because she didn't even come close. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE, UNLESS YOU WANT BROWN THEY WONT GET IT RIGHT AND STILL CHARGE YOU FOR THEY'RE MISTAKE. Now I have to wait at least 3 weeks to have someone who knows what their doing to start all over and try to fix the mistake she made. Smh
