| - Came in as a small group of three on a Friday night. We were seated promptly as the restaurant was rapidly filling up.
The dining area is large, separated by walls and sliding doors in certain areas. Tables are close together which causes a loud environment, not the place for extremely private or intimate conversation. Unfortunately our table was right by the silverware steam cleaner and computer for all of the staff to put in orders/obtain checks, etc. There was constant traffic by our table and it grew increasingly warmer as the steamer kept being opened and closed.
The dining room seemed clean, however, the same cannot be said for the women's restroom. I am understanding of the fact that on a Friday night there is a constant flow of patrons, my suggestion is to ensure you have a staff member assessing the conditions often. Restrooms represent you and the quality of the visit just as much as everything else, especially if it has everyone in there cringing.
Our waitress was (semi) friendly at times, distracted at others, and slow moving for the majority. Once she got the idea that you were finishing your final sentence she would walk off as you completed it. Refills on drinks and chips were slow, and we never got refills on salsa...maybe I missed the fact that refills of salsa weren't a possibility? I will say the salsa had great flavor and a nice kick and the chips were warm.
They have some vegetarian options for food (all include mushroom as the main ingredient) as well as GF options (corn tortillas). I had the enchilada verde, my boyfriend the steak and chicken fajitas, and my sister the BBQ 1511 platter. I think the flavors of my dish were inventive and worked well together. I don't think it was out of this world, but I enjoyed it as an average dish with slight questions about the freshness of ingredients. My boyfriend also felt unimpressed about his dish, but my sister enjoyed hers as unique and flavorful.
The drink menu is plentiful, fun, and covers every aspect of alcohol possible. But sadly the margaritas (I had the El Dorado) seemed slightly weak. There is a nice patio if you enjoy outdoor dining.
Overall this is a slightly overpriced establishment. The pricing is not reflective on the way you receive service, the environment, or quality of dishes. If in the future all of the listed qualities bump up a notch, it wouldn't seem overpriced anymore. Overall there were positives and negatives but we still had an enjoyable evening.
