| - Not a fan, laser treatment here is sub-par, when I confronted my therapist that her previous treatment was rushed and left me with patchy results she got offended and defensive about it, coming across as very arrogant and immature, unable to take criticism of her work. I've had numerous laser treatments (30+ times) in the past at various clinics (in Calgary and also in Australia), with all sorts of machines (candela, yag, diode, ipl) where the majority of practitioners were much more diligent in their method.
Instead of just blindly zapping and gliding over the area, usually the practitioner marks the area out with squares using a marker so they can keep track of the areas they lasered. I was simply told they "don't do that" and was made to feel like I'm too stupid to understand the lifecycle of hair growth (I've heard it all before - Time and time again - so l know when someone has clearly done a poor job).
I asked politely if she could go slower and be more diligent and she got all up in arms about it. I went back to the queen st location to complain as that is where they sold me the package (and also misled me into believe they'd have the primelase at that location which is the location I was originally interested in due to the proximity to where I live).
Turns out they won't get the machine at all and I have to travel 20 minutes to davidsville instead. To their defence the lady at the queen st location was reasonable and heard me out, compensated for the most recent treatment and said she will book me with another practitioner next time I visit.
Also the lady at the front desk in davidsville was great and very nice, it was just the practitioner (Sharon) who ruined it. She really needs to learn what customer service is.
