  • I was sued by Midland as well. I was optimistic that the case would be dismissed because the debt truly does not belong to me. I was happy to attempt to handle the case myself but when the trial was scheduled I thought I would hire an attorney just to be on the safe side. The trial date was set and then suddenly cancelled. A summary judgement was issued. I lost my case just like that. Mr. Skiba seemed ready to resolve the matter with a plan of action in place. Almost a year later, the judgment is still on my record.
