| - Everyone I interacted with was very nice. No complaints there. Found it interesting that tips had to be cash only, which I usually make sure I have cash anyway so I was irritated until I found out the ATM only charges $1.50, so that wasn't bad at all. Good job there. This was my first SNS manicure. It is so much faster than gel so that's cool. & it's supposed to be better for your nails. So far it seems to be extremely strong. Almost like acrylic. The salon is kind of small, so I can see that it could get pretty dang busy in there. They seem to have amazing pedicures, I didn't get one this go but literally everyone else I was there with was either getting both hands & toes or just toes. So maybe I'd come back to try that alone. Kevin was my nail tech. He was very nice & funny. Did a great job. I saw some pictures on here & they looked awful, I think mine look incredible, so if it has anything to do with the tech, Kevin knows what he's doing. I'm on day 2 & so far doesn't seem to be budging. But if an issue arises I'll update.
The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I just expected more I guess. Everyone makes this salon seem so "organic" & "healthy" & chemical free blah blah blah, it still smells like a salon, definitely not as strong, but the SNS stuff definitely still gives off chemical odor. To me it didn't seem like anything better than any other nail salon, they just offer SNS. So I guess in that respect it's cool, but I don't know. I just felt like this was supposed to be so much more "healthy" I was let down by my own expectations I suppose & I think the advertisement leads you to think it's more natural than it is maybe. But again I didn't have a pedicure & it seemed like that would have sold me. I might just have to go back & then re review.
All in all, I am pleased with the service I received.
