I should of written this before but was researching so I could get my dogs records and noticed some of these comments regarding boarding. We have been taking one of our dogs to this vet since moving to Vegas in 2012. Things had been fine. We rescued another dog and begin taking him there in 2013. Things continued to be great. They had a wonderful and caring vet name Dr. Moore and he actually nursed our rescued dog back to amazing health - he is no longer with them. In October we went out of town and boarded both dogs with them like we had done before. When we went to pick them up they were very excited to see us. I bent over to pick up one of the dogs and he yelped. I figured I had just grabed him incorrectly since he was jumping around. Once home it wasn't too long till he was having problems walking up the stairs and would not let us pet his one side. I took him back to the vet - they performed $200 in x-rays - which according to the vet showed nothing but gave me a bag of medication to give him. We did this for two weeks and then I had to take him back for a re-check. He was still favoring his side. They vet still had no answer. So she renewed the perscription and off I went again with more of the same medication. After about a month he seemed to have mended himself. When I asked about talking to the people in the back the vet said that she already had that they said nothing happened. I am picking up my dogs records and moving to a new vet where Dr. Moore works part time. It is very sad when people that are suppose to care about animals could care less but they get the mighty dollar. I do not expect these professionals to not get paid. They have attended college and have degres but if you are going to enter into a field where your patients can't talk you should really care about them.
