| - I decided to leave a review since there haven't been many recent updates. I had lots of questions before visiting this buffet, hopefully I can answer some for curious eaters.
I've eaten here twice in a weeks time. It's pretty darned delicious. I would say that this is my favorite Vegas buffet and I've eaten at all major buffets on the strip (Bacchanal, MGM, Bellagio, Paris, Mirage, and so on). The only major buffet I haven't eaten at yet is the Wynn.
If you know nothing about the above mentioned buffets I would suggest that you avoid MGM and Mirage, even if it's comped.
Studio B stands out as my favorite because
1. The variety and selection of foods are extensive.
2. Almost everything that I've eaten so far was cooked to perfection. These are the items I've eaten in my two visits:
Kalbi beef
Tempura shrimp
Lemon chicken
Vegetarian Pad Thai
Ham fried rice
Stir fried veggies
Mac N Cheese - not so great - runny and lacks salt
Brisket - this was a special item for Labor Day - superb
Fried chicken - only thighs - not sure if this is normal - decent but not the best ever
Prime rib
Mashed potatoes
Broccolini
French Fries
Caesar Salad
Mozzarella and Tomato pasta salad
Merlot
Zinfandel
Cider
Iced tea
Latte
The drinks are included in all meal pricing and alcohol is served at the bar near the left when you walk in.
Pecan pie tarts
Fruit tarts
Crime brûlée - delicious
Chocolate Molten Cake - I'm not a huge fan of chocolate because it's so rich and sweet. This was delicious and paired nicely with the Merlot.
Both visits have been along side my husband. He loves their pizza, meatballs (they are huge) and sausage and peppers. He is 100% Italian, mother is first generation born and his father moved here from Italy as a teenager. He is highly experienced with Italian food and thinks the above mentioned items are top-notch. Personally, I can't really eat much and so I haven't had the room to try them. I trust that he knows what he's talking about.
We frequent Sunset Station, and Fiesta Buffet mostly because we live in Henderson and are given 2 for 1 meals every week. When we are too busy to cook we hop down to one and get a quick bite to eat. Nothing is gourmet and many items taste okay. For the price and ease of these two establishments we keep going back. We spend three times the travel time and 5 to 6 times the $ eating at Studio B but the food has been worth it so far.
Today we paid for 2 full price meals and left a 20 percent tip of $11.00.
I highly recommend at least trying this buffet if you want to splurge or treat out of town guests.
