Stayed here for the Labor Day weekend and it was a very nice place. My friend and I found the place easily but parking was sort of a hassle since there seemed to be not enough. The outer design is very hip and modern and when you walk into the lobby, the same goes. There's beach cruisers to rent to ride around and there was a coupon for the Uber service which was nice. Need a snack? They have a variety of yummy complimentary treats and water for the guests. The room I had was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. However the bathrobes weren't as plush and comfortable as I thought they would be.
The pool. There's a reason they are voted one of the best pools. There was a hot tub and there was a ton of lounge chairs and these cocoon type things to sit in and relax in the shade. There was also these cabana areas that I'm assuming you can reserve that comes with curtains. Need a towel? Just go to the front desk and get a giant orange beach towel.
Overall, my experience at The Clarendon was great. I would for sure go back there for a stay-cation by the pool and to enjoy the night life that's around the downtown area.
