I ordered the special of the night which was a lobster shrimp fettuccine with a basil cream sauce. It was so good I literally high fived myself. The lobster pieces were generous and succulent. The shrimp was tender and also plentiful. The pasta was the perfect vehicle for mixing the cram sauce and fresh basil into every mouthful. Usually a very good dish will make me eat it so fast that I don't give myself a chance to taste it properly. But the completely arresting yet subtle flavors forced me to take only a modest mouthful each time so that I could properly savor the warm buttery richness of the lobster. I was at the mercy of the meal. And I joyfully submitted to its magnificence. I closed my eyes with every mouthful and for a moment I forgot where I was and who I was. But I'm back now and I will return.
