| - I have driven by this shop about a dozen times. I always told myself that when I had more time, I would go in... but man I was only jipping myself. I'll start by saying I am an avid tea drinker. For fear of sounding snobbish, I'll leave it at that. But this place had everything! It doesn't matter if you're new to tea or a seasoned veteran, this place has what you need.
Outside the shop you will find a couple of teas to taste and as you walk in, the aroma and charm only get better. They have a wide selection of steeping options ranging from cast iron to ceramic and stainless steel pieces, as well as single serve cups, trivets, tea balls, and even high tech devices for variable temperature heating! Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! But the tea... the tea is heavenly. I've been shopping at large and small tea shops alike for many years now. Let me be clear when I say nothing compares to the blood orange hibiscus herbal tea I picked up while I was here!
The icing on the cake for me was the customer service. The gentleman who helped me was knowledgeable, helpful, kind and patient. He knew when I wanted to talk and had a good intuition for when I just wanted to browse around. Something I really enjoyed was seeing that they also provide a steeping cheat sheet with every purchase. As a tea lover this makes me happy to know people won't take this amazing product home and burn it for lack of knowing. Skip the big corporate stores, the heck with buying online... all of your senses need to experience this place.
