To be fair, my expectations were low to begin with, but I'm scratching my head wondering if paying $879 was worth it. The paint job itself is about a click above a rattle can job. But the worst part is the prep and lack of clean up. There's overspray all over the place and up to an inch band of paint on rubber parts. It's almost as if they decided not to tape off certain areas. They used goopy chemicals to try to clean overspray on the interior. Door panels have drip marks and the same on the passenger side. It's sort of a clear glue-like substance. If I didn't know better, it's as if a half a dozen monkeys had wild sex in my car and didn't bother to even bring tissues! Yuk!
So far I've spent all weekend with a bottle of goof off and other cleaning supplies. There's serious drip marks on the truck as well but despite the 4 year warranty, I'm afraid to take it back. I'm not sure where they get their staff but I assume the Braille Institute had some art students looking for extra credit.
