rev:text	Stayed here for the week last week. Worst mistake ever.... The only reason this place is getting a 2 star review instead of a 1 is because of the manager Stephane. She was really nice. Got us a room lined up great price.... yeah first night couldn't sleep ac was so loud I had to practically yell to speak to my wife laying beside me (Monday night) Tuesday it absolutely down poured (1.25in in 15 mins) no biggie I was wrong came back to my room flooded 1/2in of water all over my floor. Went upfront and "Z" was the guy working. Very short and disrespectful.... I asked if there was anywhere else I could be moved to or for some towels he said no and they were all booked for the night.... lol....I went back out and had my wife immediately call and ask for a room... lZ" answered and he said "yes we have plenty of rooms open come on down" so we came on down! Asked him if he had anything available again and he said no. Then asked if we wanted a refund. Making it sound like it was a kind gesture. After slamming the money on the counter he looked at us and said "you have 5 mins to get everything out or you'll have to pay for the night" my wife asked where we were supposed to stay because no one was gonna have rooms for that rate that night and we still had two nights left we had paid for. He looked at my wife and said not his problem.All this time talking to my wife in a tone I wasn't happy with. My wife said "we'll move us to another room" he said "what do you expect to stay here for free" my wife said "no I want another room" and here's your money. He said "there were no rooms available" my wife then filled him in on the phone call she had just made and talked to him. And he lost it running his mouth to my wife snatching the money off the counter and slamming the one room key on the counter then told us "he would be down to our old room in 5 mins to close it and all our stuff had better be out and in the new room" we just walked out as we are walking out of the room moving out stuff to the new room that was at the opposite side of the motel. He comes up to our old room to hurry us up.. The.... He then sees our dog in his kennel and looses it at my wife "you didn't tell anyone you had a dog" I cut him off and said "YES WE DID" catching him yelling at my wife again.... which I had enough of.... that was the worst of the stay other than the elevator decided to break and whatever floor it got taken to it would sit there and constantly slam the door open and closed 24 hours a day. And you could hear it very well in my room as the bathroom was the elevator shaft wall. And we were on the second of three floors....So didn't get much sleep Tuesday-Thursday night.... Stephane being sweet and clearly sorry apologized and that was it nothing more... save $10 in a 5 day work week and stay at the motel 6 near carowinds and has a pool to swim in.
