The best thing about Simon's are the delicious, beautiful desserts which I understand are made off premise. (Kudos to whoever makes them....wish I could bake that well!). Deli type food is pretty good as well. Dinners not so much. My hubby had the veal schnitzel with potato pancakes, both were just awful. The potato pancakes were WAY over cooked, not fresh, and had consistency of gum. His green beans were cold. The clam chowder was too thick, more like paste than chowder. I had pesto salmon which was acceptable. The rice was so-so and my beans were old and cold. We come here maybe once every two years and each time are reminded why we are not frequent diners.....
