Went here on my first night of my trip. Despite it being before any of the shows we came to see, I could have gone home happy after this meal. The flavors, the attention to detail from the food itself to the service--it all was perfect the night I went!
Ordered the filet because I enjoy tender. Did not disappoint! We split three sides: brussel sprouts, fingerling potatoes, and the macaroni and cheese. The filet was perfectly cooked, I could have cut that with just my fork if I wanted!! The brussel sprouts were cooked just right with a little lemon to give it some zip. The potatoes has a good amount of truffle, balanced with parmesan and a very light hand at the salt--which I appreciated. I know potatoes are made for salt/butter/cheese but that doesn't mean you have to drown it in any of these things! And here they did not. The mac and cheese was amazing as well!! Definitely a ton of food.
We also ordered wine and a cocktail, we had arrived early so we went to the bar and grabbed some drinks. I didn't drink much until after we had eaten some because I wanted to make sure my taste buds got the full effect.
We also were seated near enough to the open kitchen so I could watch each person crafting magic. A great experience!! You get two of the servers paying attention to you so you never find yourself needing anything, they just kind of appear with whatever you need before you need it. I greatly appreciate that level of service.
I will be back. I'd gladly order the same thing but I do want to try scallops and the beef Wellington!!
