  • I helped my mom adopt an amazing dog from here a year and a half ago. The adoption process is intense but most of the staff means well. My mom has a cat(who actually loves dogs) so we were very limited as to what dog we could meet with. Some of the staff does have strong opinions on pet care but no one should take that personally. For example, when I told the women at the adoption desk we had a cat she acted like no dog was capable of living with a cat. They finally got a sweet dog that passed their cat test and he is the best. They have many rules that they don't make exceptions for but only because they want the best homes for their animals.
