We went again last night to hear Ed and Randy play on the patio. AGAIN the meal was terrible. We really only went to listen to their music but we had to eat.
The menu for the patio BBQ is very limited, the portions are small and it's very overpriced.
The burger comes as a burger-that's it. We had to ask for condiments and ask for lettuce, tomatoes and onions. It doesn't come with anything else as a side. If you would like a salad or potato that will be $5.00 extra and BTW there are no fries.
The "grilled Caesar salad" was a hunk of romaine lettuce tossed on the BBQ and drizzled with less than 1 tsp. of Caesar dressing.
The service was terrible; our waiter took just 4 drink orders but there were 5 of us at the table.
The best part of the dinner was dessert.
My advice; order an entire cheesecake or lemon cake and forget about the entree. Sad thing about this place is it could make a killing if managed properly with a decent menu, decent wait staff and decent chefs.
The view and patio are perfect for a summer evening but c'mon Glen Erin Inn step it up SEVERAL notches.
