I tasted and by "tasted" I mean devoured a slice of Red velvet cake, which was excellent with a very creamy cream cheese top layer and chocolatey but not too strong chocolate base. On an aside, the cherries were fresh and not too "synthetic". Besides the wide assortment of cakes, a variety of ice cream/ frozen yogourt flavours were available to choose from as well. I tasted; This time it was the "test" variant, a spoonful of blueberry ice cream which was not comparable in taste to the aforementioned cake. It was very watery and bland in taste and just like ice in the process of melting. I would recommend Old Firehall in a heart beat uniquely for their wide assortment of cakes and this is just based on my sample of Red Velvet.
