  • Absolute HIDDEN GEM !!! This was a godsend during our stay at the MGM Grand. We stayed in the West Wing and quickly discovered a side entrance to a small street leading to S Las Vegas Blvd and in the very same corner was this store, which also had a Subway and a pizza outlet. But the BEST THING, and this is a MAJOR TIP to everyone staying within the vicinity, especially in the West Wing of the MGM Grand Hotel, was that they sell 2 500ml bottles of Dasani Purified Water for $1. Amazing! This is cheaper than the guys selling the ice cold bottles of water on the streets and more than half the price compared to all other stores. In addition, you can also buy 2 500ml bottles of Coke Cola (regular or diet!) for $2, which is 1/3 of the regular price elsewhere. This became a regular stop before venturing out to purchase our days supply whilst we were out and about or chilling by the pool. Of course we had a good supply in our rooms to keep hydrated in the desert heat. As a travelling aficionado, and a feature in my SeaWorld blog post on mcrphil.blogspot.co.uk, I have a small cooler bag from Columbia, which is perfect for days out or days by the pool as it fits 6 500ml bottles and keeps them perfectly cold all day. I particularly take it out when I am visiting places like Las Vegas or Florida. I RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE. One traveller to another! Keep smart; keep hydrated.
