If you are looking for authentic Sichuan style cusine with a great atmosphere, then this is your spot. As a Sichuan native, this was the best place I have had the fortune to discover for home town cooking since arriving in Canada 15 years ago. I ordered the Kung Bao chicken dish along with a few of their signature cold dishes and was pleasantly surprised at the large portion size. The price is on the higher end for a Chinese restaurant, but like the old saying goes, you get what you paid for. Service is top-notch, the waitress was very friendly and helpful, a nice change of scenery from the old grumpy servers at most Chinese resturants. Overall, the Red offers a true authentic taste of Sichuan cusine, don't miss it if you are craving for that hometown flavor; or simply a fan of the Sichuan style. That said, I saw plenty of light flavor dishes as well, there is more than enough variety for all to enjoy.
