| - Having never heard of Silverton before, I used to wonder why my auntie stayed here with her friends. Turns out that her guy friends liked the Pro Bass Shop which is attached to this hotel/casino. Out of curiosity, I came here to check it out and discovered an outdoorsy unique environment.
A must-see is the huge aquarium...it's so amazing! There is a 2-lane bowling alley and a really good buffet. (Tip: you can eat for free if you listen to a time share presentation) The free covered parking is another plus. The Players Club is quite good as I have received free rooms, Starbucks beverages, a jacket, dining credit, Super Bowl t-shirt, & other gifts.
The rooms are clean and spacious. There are 4 pillows: 2 fluffy and 2 medium. I really like the Coconut Lime soap, lotion, and shampoo/conditioner (Rain Kissed Leaves) from Bath & BodyWorks. The only thing missing is a refrigerator.
The sports viewing area has expanded with 3 jumbo screens and a partial barrier. There's construction of a time share outside, so driving around is a bit tricky right now. It is south of the Strip, but they have a shuttle if you don't drive.
I would stay here again and pay, if I didn't have any other comp room available. The staff and service are friendly and efficient! Example: I had forgotten to take my voucher from the machine. Staff looked at the monitors, found me, and gave me my voucher! ! So honest! ! Mahalo!
