| - Since I do not have haircuts very often, I tend to lose stylists when they leave the salon (that is how I lost 2 people I really liked). My last stylist was a very nice guy, but unfortunately he never listened to me when I was describing him what I wanted. A couple of times I let it go, but after I brought photos, showed them to him and ended up with a completely different cut, I decided to find someone else because I did not feel like confronting anybody. I believe I found Studio 7 via Yelp by looking at hair salons in the vicinity of my neighborhood. I checked Studio 7's Facebook page, and I liked what I saw. I believe Meghan Orrill also has some groupons for sale with very reasonable prices, but since it looked like she is doing it alone, I decided to support a young entrepreneur and paid a full price. I don't regret it for a second, but it is nice that she gives her future client an opportunity to try her services for a very sensible fee.
I'm glad I found Meghan: she is a smart, lovely girl and a very good stylist. Some people just have talent, and she is one of them. If you are looking for a new stylist, please give her a chance, I don't think you will be disappointed. She is renting a room in a big salon, and I really liked this set up. Instead of sitting in a noisy environment where many people talk at the same time, you have this private room. Everything was clean, the products she used were lovely (have to ask her what it was, my hair smells divine!). Finally, I have a haircut I really wanted!
