  • If you just want to go to a place to hang out, find yourself a booth and relax, Kelly's is just right. The atmosphere of the bar is good and the regular weekday bartender is good. The servers are almost always terrible. Once or twice I have had someone who actually knew how to serve only to never see them again. Also, if you have any complaints for the management, expect the same reaction as you would in some horrible hip retail store. Some of the scenesters think very highly of themselves (and this includes some of the staff), which is amusing since we are all still in Pittsburgh. The place becomes chock full of them after 10pm, so I tend to keep it earlier when there is more of a mix. The food is decent, the 4 dollar drink special is nice, although I preferred when it was Manhattan's and Sidecars vs Palomas and Mojitos. They are all summer-y drinks so maybe they will keep switching it up?
