  • Yeeps! What happened? I came back to "Train" after a long hiatus (I was on pho overload), and was disappointed to see that service had gone from distracted to absent, cleanliness sat somewhere between tolerable and suspect, and food quality was altogether below average. Their #1 pho special which once brought me so much joy was made up of thick rice noodles and overly chewy beef slices, and came with the saddest plate of bean sprouts I'd ever seen. Are they trying to cut corners with their sprouts? And so, old friend, it'll be a while before I come back here. I have other gastro-love affairs to tend to in the meantime.
