I just wanted to update about my staples here at St Lawrence, since I'm there frequently.
1) Basement Soy guy - I think he's called Ying Ying Soy - this stuff is incredibly delicious. Holy doodle. How do they make tofu THIS GOOD? It's so incredible I actually dream about it. All you do is rip open the bag and eat some, no prep needed. If you do want to do it up a little, I once BBQ'd the sweet & spicy on skewers and it was out of this world. This place is divine - seriously.
2) I like the pizza shop on the ground floor, they make a mean pesto mushroom pizza, great for lunch.
3) The bean guy in the basement is all awesomeness. He is sweet and elderly, and has every random grain that I can never find anywhere else.
4) The chinese food downstairs is pretty darn good. It's relatively inexpensive and they have some decent tofu.
So, on that note, I think I might go snack on some tofu right now. Never thought those words would come out of my mouth (or fingers, as the case may be).
