| - My first real clubbing experience in Vegas, woo!
Being one of two open clubs on Christmas Eve, my friends and I chose Marquee due to having free guestlist for both men and women. However, because of this, the line to get in was LONG!! It seriously felt never ending because the moment we got out of one line, we were moved into another - I was so shocked! My friends who were seasoned Vegas club veterans told me that they had never waited that long (about an hour and a half) to get into a club.
Once we got in, it was no surprise that it was packed. Andrew Rayel was playing, and although he's not my favorite, he threw down a lot of big room house music which, if you're drunk enough can be a great time since it's lighthearted and easy to dance/flow to. Drinks were very expensive, but I guess I expected that. However, if you make friends, especially with a table, people are down to share :)
As for the actual venue, it was smaller than I expected! The outdoor area was open which was nice to get some air, but the indoor area was quite small with not a lot of room to dance due to being mostly filled with tables. I guess I understand because that's where they make a bulk of their money. Just a bummer if you can't make friends with a table since it gets packed and claustrophobic.
However the interior is decorated beautifully. There were amazing go-go dancers who were dressed up like candy canes for the holidays who were just beautiful goddesses! Once our dancing shoes were fueled up with some alcohol, my friends and I had an awesome time. Definitely excited to come back for another Vegas clubbing experience soon!
