Brought my husband here for his birthday. We don't have kids and we had a blast and learned a lot.
I loved the bottom floor, all of the space things. It's wild to think that some of these items have been in outer space. The lunar module was so cool to see as well as Buzz Aldrin's in flight suit. There is a lot of cool information available about current research in insulating materials, ballistics, vacuums, and other technologies and opportunities to interact with the ideas on the table.
Upstairs is just full of things to do and play with. You can build circuits, examine shadows, interact with light, sound, electricity--there is so much to do. Beardyman and I had an absolute blast. I can imagine that it would be fun to bring middle grade children. The children in my life would all be a bit young, not having the patience to have each display explained but in a couple of years when they can read--they will love it.
Great way to spend a cold afternoon.
