| - Ended up here by mistake. My wife had eaten at the Mexican place at the Venetian the day before and told me how good it was. Not being able to remember the name, just knowing it started with "Can.." something, as soon as I saw this and thought "That's it!"
As we were walking up, I thought it seemed weird for a Mexican restaurant, but maybe they were trying to mix in the Venetian theme or something. Once I looked at the menu, my suspicions were confirmed. I was in the wrong place. Oh well, let's eat some Italian food.
Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of Italian, so I had to spend al lot of time looking at the menu over stuff that seemed overly fancy and not too appealing to me. Finally I gave in, represented Parks n Rec and ordered the... Calzone.
It was probably the second time in my life I've had a calzone, but it was pretty decent. I it was also massive. If you're looking for a huge serving, this fits.
Overall it wasn't bad, but for me, it just wasn't worth it. I can't recall what my friend ordered, but I know he got a side salad with it, which upon receiving the bill, we discovered was $10.99. That's crazy. If they ask you if you would like a side salad with your order, be aware that it's $11 on top of your already fairly expensive meal.
I didn't hate it, but I definitely won't be back.
