So in all my years I have never written a public complaint because nothing had ever come to the point that I felt it was needed....until now.
This company (if you want to call it a company) appears to almost purposely make things as hard as possible for their customers. We described the problem with our appliance and they said they would send someone over within 24 hours to fix it. A nice young man showed up and when he arrived realized he was unable to do the work because he did not have the tool that was needed. He inferred he would get the tool from another worker the following day.
We followed up with the company and nobody returned our call. The appliance in question is an appliance that is needed on a daily basis. They have not returned our call to the point.
Prior to this issue, we had an issue with our dishwasher that took them 3 weeks and 2 separate service workers to get done.
The main issue is that this is Maytag's warranty servicer. Any additional issues with this joke of a company need to be addressed to maytag as well.
