My husband and I went to Kia with hopes of trading in both our cars for upgrades... (he had a 2006 Taurus...so anything would be an upgrade!) We knew what our budget was, and pretty much what we wanted. We worked with Mark Dahl, our "Tour guide" who showed us options. In all honesty, our budget was insanely low for what we wanted. Mark showed us another option (Remember, ANYTHING was better than a 2006 Taurus.) :) which suited my husband perfectly...and me since I am all about the budget. When it came to my car, I love a Forte and that was all I wanted. Done. Mark went to bat for us, knowing how important our number was. After a few equations rolled out, one worked out in our favor. Not only did we get 2 cars we wanted, they got us to our budgeted number! (And now my husband doesn't have to worry about breaking down on the way to teaching or coaching.) I have to say too, they advertised a free walmart gift card for every test drive...so I kept joking how we should get enough gift cards to get a food processor (Mark shared with us he was a baker for 27 years and out of the schematics of his sentence "I have to give you my cheesecake recipe"...he didn't think I'd actually hit him up for it...hehe. but a food processor would work pretty good for the crust...). In the end I joked how the lack of gift cards would break the deal....and they delivered. :) all in all Mark and the team presented us with what we wanted and I am happy to be a repeat guest in their Kia home...hrm. Does this mean I have to bring cheesecake next time? :)
