After being hesitant to come back here because of one bad experience when I first moved back to Pittsburgh, I was forced to give it another chance by my boyfriend since it is one of his favorite places to go.
Brunch is good. I still feel like we have limited brunch options in Pgh, so this is a good go to. Whether you are getting a boxty or the traditional breakfast you should be satisfied. Dinner--- I like the Shrimp and Chips, and most other items are good too. Beer selection is to die for... lots to choose from and they are constantly adding and changing things which keeps it interesting (while keeping the good old standby ones as well).
Service can be inconsistent, but you learn when not to sit in certain places.
Not a "Bar" bar... can be family friendly as well. Never too rowdy unless it is soccer fans getting anxious watching their teams play.
A good spot worth checking out.
