What a pleasant surprise on a Saturday night!! A quaint romantic place, although there were a few non-couples and children there, too. The bartenders and waitstaff were very pleasant. The hostess wasn't. Maybe she was having a bad day?
Food was divine. Basket of bread and focaccia with olives baked in was amazing. There was also a square of fried dough. So very good, just a bit too salty. I brushed the extra salt off and it was fine. My wine was a lovely moscato that I will be searching for in the liquor stores. My husband also enjoyed his wine. I ordered tagliatelle with crab meat and cherry tomatoes. My mouth is watering just writing about it. My husband ordered the tiny gnocchi. Again, a home run! Per our server's suggestion, I had the chocolate bread pudding with passionfruit syrup and a dollop of whipped cream. I have been dreaming about that dessert ever since. The room is not very large so it fills up quickly. Wasn't loud though! My husband and I will be back there very soon.
