I preordered 16 cupcakes for my piano students' recital. I wanted each student to get a cute cupcake with a music note on it. Gigi's was able to do exactly what I was asking for! The cute girl working at the front was very helpful and even went back to bring the chef out to talk to me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. When I went to pick them up, they were on the counter ready and waiting for me!
Unfortunately, the taste of the cupcakes wasn't good. I tried two of the cupcakes I ordered, the Strawberry Shortcake and the Cookie Dough. Both had so much frosting I felt sick and the cake part was not moist or particularly flavorful. The cake part tasted like it was made a few days prior and maybe frozen or something (though I'm sure that isn't actually the case). I probably wouldn't go back to just buy a single cupcake for myself anytime soon. Yes, they are very cute and I loved that they were able to customize them and put them in cute little boxes, but they just didn't taste good! I hate to leave a so-so review for them because it's such a cute shop and the customer service was exceptional, but I have to be honest. There are other places to get a very moist, fresh tasting cupcake... sorry Gigi's!
