So my emergency visit on 6/7 and follow up visit on 6/15 with Drs' Krummins and Ottman were lovely. So, my other tonkinese developed an eye issue so i made an exam appointment for 6/22. She was examined by Dr. Babcock. In a nutshell, he and I didn't get along or see eye to eye about her care. Additionally, he told me that her top canine tooth needed to be extracted right away and while he was at it he wanted to pull her remaining teeth even though he admitted that they were healthy. First off, she's 10 and this is not my first encounter with purebred tonkinese and I'm aware that they have dental issues. He was very insistent but I didn't give in. I took her for a 2nd opinion at DreamyDraw Cat Hospital and she did not agree with the pulling of that tooth now and totally disagreed with pulling her healthy teeth. So, he treated her eye issue BUT tried to make something out of nothing. All I can say is owner/pet guardian BEWARE, if something doesn't seem right or sound right please get another opinion.
