| - I was a little ahead of the game when I went to start looking for wedding gowns a couple weeks ago considering my wedding is slated for late August 2014. My trip to Something White was Stop #1 on my tour-de-dress shops, and I was not expecting to find anything, nor did I feel as though I needed to purchase that day.
As soon as my maids, mom, and I arrived at the store, we were greeted and offered water and coffee. Let me say, this is store is like a real life Pinterest board: absolutely charming with lovely decor, but not overwhelming or off-putting. I immediately felt comfortable.
Karin, one of the owners, assisted me with trying on gowns. She was so knowledgeable, patient, and gracious, and at no point did I feel any pressure to purchase. (And trust me, I worked at David's Bridal and can smell a pushy bridal consultant from a mile away.)
I did end up finding my gown, much to my surprise. Long story short, after the purchase, I had been second-guessing my decision because I'm paranoid like that, but Karin and Rebecca were so great about it. They let me come back in and try on the gown I purchased (as well as a couple others I had been questioning) to make sure it was THE ONE. I don't think many other stores/boutiques would've been this accommodating.
Something White is THE store to visit if you're a Cleveland (or even out-of-town!) bride--especially if you're looking for simple, vintage-inspired, classic gowns. (This isn't the place for sequins/fluffy tulle/bling bling, as another reviewer had mentioned.) Karin and Rebecca are SO friendly and helpful; customer service truly doesn't get any better.
