There's always a long line here at lunch time and with good reason. The food is inexpensive (I paid $6.95 for a chicken burrito bowl), good quality and it's tasty. To the credit of the people behind the counter, the line moves very quickly. It seems like you're in store for an eternity of waiting when you first get in line, but before you know it you're picking between white or brown rice and black or pinto beans.
Sure it's a chain. Sure it's fast food. But it's a relatively healthy, low carb, low fat, high protein alternative to the greasy burger you'll get at other fast food establishments. It's no wonder there's always a long line at Chipolte.
