  • The closest T & T to downtown Toronto. Although smaller than other locations this place has most everything you will need for your asian ingredients but also many great prepared foods. We typically come for the Dim Sum in the morning. It's not the best Dim Sum that money can buy but it's decent for the price! Usually I go for some had gau, siu main, sticky rice, bean curd rolls and a few other delightful tummy filling dishes! When you enter the store they have a prepared sushi selection that is some of the cheapest supermarket sushi you will find. A great selection of rolls and sashimi fresh convenient and available. If you go 30 min before closing you can usually get some 50% off sushi that is still good! This location also does have a smaller bakery of a variety of items, a good produce selection, butcher shop but my favourite to peruse is the seafood. Whether it's the geoduck, crab, lobster, fresh fish there is always some good action. For me it's part aquarium voyeur, part exhibition of fish mangers cleaning and gutting a fresh fish. What's great about the butcher shop is you can get some nice Asian cuts of meat such as thinly sliced ribeye and beef short ribs. Great selection, reasonable prices and a pleasant retail experience.
