  • I just moved to Charlotte in January and was understandably nervous about finding someone to cut my hair. I was sporting a pretty unconventional style of a Tegan and Sara type mullet that had grown out and gotten really unkempt. Kinda just sitting on my head like roadkill. I also have super thick Italian hair that needs to be thinned often. I found this place on Reddit of all places and thought it sounded cool, so I booked an appointment online with Nikki. I was not disappointed. This shop is really cute. It's got an industrial but comfortable vibe, and it doesn't smell like gross products or have that stinky hair salon smell (what IS that?). Nikki was punctual and really nice. She was honest in telling me what would look best, even though it involved cutting off the aforementioned mullet part. She was able to razor off a huge amount of hair to thin it out, too. She did a fantastic job and made me feel like a brand new woman! Hahaha. No, but really, Nikki is great. I've already scheduled my next cut with her. Super glad I found this spot!
